I think when peppers start to blossom that is when you are suppose to spray them with Epsom salts. Those online pepper experts should know.

Hubby has planted some seeds in the garden, including some cantaloupe seeds from a couple of small, but very good cantaloupes awhile back. I hope we can grow them successfully.
The indoor plants are doing OK. We have a 'Christmas Cactus' that has one small bloom on it. I'm thinking of taking a picture of it here soon and posting it in this thread.
Hubby is the one with the green thumb and does all the growing around here.

My mother loves cantaloupe but I never liked it. I'd like to see a photo of your cactus. I mixed up some epsom salts and water in a spray bottle. My book say 2 teaspoons to a quart but all of the videos say 2 tablespoons to a quart. I'm thinking my book is wrong.

You can see some basket of fire peppers in this video. I don't think mine will get that big. Sherlew do you use hot sauce?

I looked up some online articles and found that they vary between 1 or 2 tablespoons per quart and 1 or 2 tablespoons per gallon. I'm thinking that the amounts depend on whether you've used other fertilizers or not. If you've added other fertilizers, I'd go by the book and try the 1 tsp per quart and see how it goes.

I found and bought a packet of cress seeds today. Maybe it is something that will grow for me that I can add to salids. Is it a cut and come again thing like lettuce?
