I've been learning a lot today.
I just put some more ground cinnamon on my miner's lettuce and then a layer of sand.

More Parsley came up and my beans have started coming up  I have started charts to keep track of my plants in order to take care of them better. |

My pepper plant has an open flower and several buds I have been trying to save my Miner's Lettuce but it looks almost dead with gnats still flying around it. My Shallots have a few dead leaves. |

Glad to hear that the pepper plants are doing so well. Sounds like the miner's lettuce will turn out to be a do-over. I'd try it again, though.
I'm not finding much on why the shallots' leaves are dying. How are they growing otherwise?

I throw out what was the miner's lettuce this morning. It looked all dead and that the bug might be affecting other plants. One of the parsley seedlings was laying on its side.

Those do look like little Audrey's. Be careful of nosebleeds or any cuts you may have on your hands. They are the stoutest seedlings that I've ever had come up. I'm going to have to thin them at some point. Who do you think will win? |
