This is what I bought today at my local Toys-R-Us. I got a DUNCAN PRO Z yo-yo. I hope it will make a good starter and hold me until I send for some other yo-yos (which will be soon). I decided to start this new thread for yo-yos. I hope it takes off like the juggling one did. Attachments:

I went to Walmart today and this is the yo-yo stuff that I got. All they had as far as yo-yos goes was the basic Duncan BUTTERFLY & IMPERIAL. They cost $3 each. The box I got to store yo-yo strings and parts. I seen a yo-yo website selling the waterproof version for like $27. I payed about $4 for this one. I changed my yo-yo order at the last minute and now I'm going to get a lime green & silver Dark Magic 2. Attachments:

From what I remember, the two you bought are supposed to be pretty good. It'll be interesting to compare them to the two on order when they arrive.

Could you make out what was written on his yo-yo?
I would like to know what yo-yo it is.
One of the next things I think I should get is a case for storing, carrying, and displaying multiple yo-yos. I think that all of those I've seen so far are sold out.

I can't make out what's on the 4th Doctor's yo-yo, but it may be a Duncan Gold Award. LinkI have to get back to work now. Perhaps we can track down an answer soon though. |

I will probably get the hard case at the end of the month and a few other things.
I haven't even started yet and I already have 4 yo-yos and one on the way.
I should try to get ones that cover the different categories which right now look to me like.
