I would try a bit on a piece of bread or a cracker like people have been demonstrating first. If you like it, it'll probably be fine on the egg sandwich.

 Here it is! My very own jar of Vegemite. Sherlew are you jealous?  I got a package slip in the mail today for my jar of Marmite which I will pick up tomorrow HEY, my Vegemite doesn't say KRAFT at all! It says it's made by Mondelez Australia Foods. |
