 These are the plastic tubes on my shallots. The one shallot is the same size. I was going to put the sticks in but the sides of the bucket seem to hole it pretty good. I wonder how necessary these tubes are for me? My shallots seem to be the fastest growing thing for me right now probably fallowed by my radish bulbs. |

 I've been rotating the 2 shallot pots daily as to which light they are under. I still think the CFL does way better then the LED and those LED grow lights were super expensive. |

When should I harvest my radishes? We now know that we can't go by what it says on the back of the seed packet. Is there something that I should look for?

I must say that I was impressed by how the tubes in the video kept the tops of the shallots neatly in place. |

Some say about measuring the diameter of the radish like 1/2 to 3/4 inch. |

Think I'll stay home today and do a few things here like farming and harvest my radishes. I wonder if I'll get any surprizes by finding big radishes under the soil? I will probably then plant another crop.

  First Radish Harvest of 2017.Remember for most of these radishes life they were growing in a very hot environment. Much hotter then they prefer. The seed packet said 24 days to harvest and this is day 42. |

Just planted Gourmet Blend RADISH seeds from AMERICAN SEED. It seemed the most logical being that it is a mix of many radishes.
