View AttachmentMy over watering removal tool. I used it for the first time this morning. It's one of those bulbs you use to clean out your ears. I bet it worked quite well. |

Of the 5 shallot bulbs that I planted only one is not showing any signs of life. Two have green showing but before that happens the little dinkies on the tops become erect.

One lower radish stem is definitely looking bulbous. There is one other one that is looking a little thick.
I just going to give them until the end of the month. Then I'll see what I got and start over. Most of there life was when the apartment was an oven and they like cool temps.

 First thing out of bed this morning I was farming. All of my 5 shallot bulbs have sprouted and the 2 insurance policies that I had in small cup I transplanted. This is my in-room grow station currently. The shallots under the stool are the insurance policies that I just transplanted. They have a CFL on them. The shallots on top of the stool have an LED grow light on them. No mint yet  |

The spearmint packet says 7 to 14 days and its been 9 days.
The grow setup is very flexible. I haven't put the plastic bottles over them yet.
