That's OK, I don't remember if you had already posted a picture. Would have to look it up. Also, no problem regarding the clutter. I know how it can be living in a small space. Our place tends to get a little cluttered, too.

My Guam Boonie Peppers just started coming up I just planted my Basket of Fire Peppers. I did these different then the others. I germinated them in a bag with a paper towel for a few days then planted them right in its home pot. I planted 3 seeds. I will keep the best looking one and remove the others that way the plant that I want doesn't go through the shock of being transplanted.

When I get peppers I plan to try some chopped up in eggs but what I think I will do with most of them is to make hot pepper vinegar. I have started looking around for the type of bottles that I want. I would like a small glass bottle with a one hole plastic spritzed on top that a cap screws over. Something that I could carry when I eat out and shake it on french fries and chicken and things.

I should probably harvest my grass tonight and if I do I will probably use my refractometer for the first time.

I just calibrated my refractometer for the first time. In some of the reviews people said they checked there's and they were calibrated right out of the box. Well mine wasn't. I had to adjust it. Here soon I will take my first reading using my new garlic press to get a sample from the wheatgrass that I harvested last night.

Uh oh, I'm sorry to hear that it didn't turn out very well. Do you have an idea of what went wrong?

On that crop I tried more soil and more seeds. The densaty probably lead to the mold that may have contributed to the shortness. I have been kicking it around in my head for a while because my last how many crops have been on the short side. We still haven't had a lightning storm here yet this year. It might have to do with the lack of airborn nitrigen. I remember match heads really kick plants in the butt and getting them going like crazy. What are match heads made of?

These are my peppers and chives that are up already. The only ones not in the photo are the basket of fire peppers. They haven't came up yet. I sprayed what in the photo with epsom salts and cut the chives last night.

I've never heard of match heads being used this way. Here's a link to an article on them. Looks like they're used as a source of phosphorus, but I'm wondering if other sources would be better due to the amount of chemicals in the match heads.
