Just checked and my REJUVELAC is bubbling away nicely. I learned about the BRIX METER (Refractometer) today and I'm thinking of getting one. It seems like its something that most people should have and be using.

How are you eating your lentil sprouts Sherlew? I'm starting some more tonite. I'm still just microwaving them and adding onion powdered. They're so good that way.

I just made up that sunflower cheese AGAIN. This time I used my juicer. I ran it through many times. It is sitting right now to ferment and raise or something. That REJUVELAC that I made and put in it turned out GREAT. I have been playing around with the proportion of grain to water or container and it looks like one cup of rye to a half gallon container wins. The cheese wont be done tonite. I'll have to try it tomorrow. I got a very nice surprize today. My BRIX METER has shipped already and is on its way

Cool, that was quick. Sounds like you have the rejuvelac sorted. Hope the cheese is good.

I got my refractometer today. I was just trying to find a brix chart that lists wheatgrass but could not. As near as I can figure this should be close to being it.
GRAINS 6=Poor 10=Average 14=Good 18=Excellent

I have given up on that cheese I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out. Just out of curiosity, which recipe did you use?
