Hope you can find a good, indoor place to juggle. At least you can juggle indoors with the other props. What kind of tricks can you do with the Russian balls?

Hope you can find a good, indoor place to juggle. At least you can juggle indoors with the other props. What kind of tricks can you do with the Russian balls? One of the things is they have a dead fall so you can catch them on different parts of the body. From what I'm reading they may have different flight characteristics. It look like numbers jugglers like them.

Numbers jugglers?
It sounds like you can do neat things with the Russian balls.
Hope you can find the other balls at your local Toys R Us.

Well I did it. I had to go to walmart anyway so I checked and they had ball pen balls for like $8 (100 of them) and a kitchen scale for like $4 so I bought them. Now I should have everything for making many russian juggling balls.

I think that's the best way to go. Things get lost or damaged and it's good to be able to make your own instead of buying.

You also get a certain satisfaction from home made things. I was just studying more about making russian balls and the advantages of them. The advantages are not just dead falls (bean bags do roll) and body catches. Numbers jugglers like them because they have to juggle high and a lot of balls and the russian balls make the pattern more stable. I just dug out my reptile sand. I use to use it in my tumbler to clean coins from treasure hunting. This is what I will fill my russian balls with.

It's a pretty fine sand, isn't it. It should work.

Yes its a very fine sand and it should be clean also. I bought it at Petco. I just dug out my hot glue gun and now I feel like there are spiders all over me. I have all the stuff together now to make them now I just have to do it.

I made 3 of those russian balls last night but I didn't do the last step until today when I went juggling down the street. The removing of excess glue and smoothing. I burnt my finger but not bad. Using a lighter and your finger is to dangerous. In on of the videos it was mentioned that some people use shoe glue. That is what I will try next. I use to have some. It is called GOOP. It was kind of windy but I did well juggling today. The highest run I got was 14 but the rest was 7 and higher. I am going to go club juggling at Roxbury tomorrow It might be my last for this season

I hope it isn't and that you get a few more days with it. Hope the Goop works better than the other glue. Removing it does sound a bit dangerous and painful. Glad to hear that the juggling went well today.

I went juggling at Roxbury today and did well. I think that this is the stuff I need to get to make more russian balls. www.eclecticproducts.com/shoegoo.htmThis is the orignal stuff. Now they have a whole line of products and I'm not sure which would be best for me.

Check this out? www.jugglingstore.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=743Do you see the name on the side of that red ball? Those are the same balls that I got for making russian balls out of. They use a drill and they know where to get those little plastic plugs from.
