How Is Matt Smith Doing as the Doctor?

A poll to see how happy or sad we are at Matt Smith's take on our favorite Timelord. I think Matt has been pretty good so far, and I think he will grow into possibly once of the best Doctor's ever, should be interesting to see.

I think Matt almost looks like a young Pertwee, and the bow tie look is so Pat Troughton that you get a sense that Matt is more a classic series kind of Doc at first impressions, but he is just as much a successor to his last two incarnations since 2005.

I think this should be fun to see as this series closes and the Xmas special and series six loom.

I like Matt so far as the Doctor too Tom. I think I've adjusted to the suit a little as well. I think the one thing I didn't care for the suit was being a Pat fan I only wanted him to have that kind of suit but Matt's pulling it off.

I also liked the fact how he got the suit, reminded me a lot of JP's.
I had a good chuckle when Amy said something about it
"Yeah I saved the world and kept the suit so sue me"
lol funny also I'm getting a sense from "The Beast Bellow" That the Doctor and the Royal family have a "History"

I was just thinking that I didn't like him when I first seen him and then it hit me, I don't like any new doctor when I first see them because I'm still in grief from loosing the last one

Pretty much, although I'll admit I've made a quick adjustment to Matt as the Doctor, I have felt that way in the past though with Colin Baker or McCoy for example.

Oh yeah and speaking of Colin did anyone get the whole Carrots from the Doctor when little Amy offered them in his cravings? I laughed and said to kim "What is it about red heads and carrots?"
Of course she didn't see any of Colin's so she had no idea what I was talking about, but I seem to recall Mel shoving carrots down his throat a bit too

I think he had a good start too. Confronting the Aliens about what they were going to do if they didn't get prisoner 0 and that this planet is protected, good stuff. I'm not so sure though I like the resent stuff though with the added domestics, I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I don't want to to spoil it too much I know Sherlew hasn't seen too much of it
