I don't know if they're going to go away or not. We just need to find another image hosting service and use it. I've been researching the other online, but am not that impressed by them so far.

Perhaps we should put off posting photos until we find an image hosting site we like.

Well, I've been scouring the Internet for a good replacement for Photobucket. May have issues, a lot of them have unsecure login pages, but I find one that's secure, free and should be mostly issue-free. I've been trying it out and the only little niggle I have is that it's showing my signature smaller than it is. Here's the link if you want to try it out: Postimage.org |

Heh, found a little while ago out that when you link to pictures in Postimage, people can click on it and go to your gallery and see the rest of your stuff.

Still, it's better than paying Photobucket $40 a month.
As for what I've posted o far here, think I'll go ahead and re-host some of my images with Postimage and just delete the rest.

Is this from me putting photos in my posts? Yeah, it's from all of us linking our pictures to Photobucket. I've already switched my signature and avatar to Postimage. Will still have to either do this to the pictures I've posted or just delete them. Am planning to do this with the picture threads. |

I deleted lots of old picture thread photos from Photobucket yesterday. I didn't delete anything from the threads we've been using relatively recently. I'm going to re-host pictures from those before deleting them from my Photobucket account. I'll also be letting other admins and users know if they have pictures embedded in the threads I'm going to peruse.
