It has a sticker on the front that says "CERTIFIED FRESH Rotten Tomatoes".

That sticker is a good sign. I haven't heard of this movie before.

I haven't either. The checkout girl told me its a great movie and the kind that you pick up on more stuff when you re-watch it.

I watched this last night. It's a good movie but not as good as I was lead to believe. It was lacking in story and dialogue. When you watch the special features they explain a lot and you say to yourself why wasn't that in the movie. The guy that plays Alton's dad I seen him in a movie before which in many ways seems similar to this movie. It was about him getting a premonition and building a storm cellar and him and everyone else thinking he is crazy. There was one very amazing thing about this movie to me and I've been trying to figure out what to call it. It's like embedded knowledge of an obscure true super natural ability. One of the first things it shows the boy is able to do is to know what is on the radio before it is turned on. I posted about this long ago. That is something that both my dad and I could do. That other world is kind of how the kingdom of heaven is suppose to be. Not up in the sky per-say but all around us and unnoticed.

Found it! The guy's name is Michael Shannon and the movie is Take Shelter.
