Just got my EYESHIELDs. They come in a metal box. I got the standard and compact size. I'll try the standard size with my astronomy binoculars and the compact size with my butterfly binoculars for hiking. In the yellow envelope is a universal dovetail base for a telescope.

I just came back in. I tried out my new EYESHIELDS on my CELESTRON COMETRON 7X50 Binoculars and OMG, what a difference they made. These were definitely a good buy and worth getting. Sherlew you can definitely see M44 The Beehive Cluster with your binoculars. I discovered I could not see M44 the other night was because I was looking between the wrong two stars. I was looking between Pollux and Procyon instead of Pollux and Regulus.

Cool, and I'm glad that you found M44. We have clouds again tonight. Think I'll retire early.

Did I already post a photo of the overwhelming blinding lights on and around my building?
