If there was a building on the moon why bomb it? It makes much more sense to visit it unless you know more specific information.

That electrical discharge may be just that. There is solar wind so isn't there space weather?

There may not have been a plume of debris from the rocket explosion because it may have failed to detonate. Ordnance isn't as reliable as the public thinks it is. When I was in the navy our most reliable missile was the sidewinder and I seen them fail. I just seen the other day that there is a new air to air missile that is deemed the best and it's not a U.S. missile.

That's a good point. It may have been a dud. Also, if I remember correctly, there is such a thing as spaceweather. I have to go here soon, but we'll have to look this stuff up later today.
