Is that a lot of planets not to have anything on them? I seen yesterday that a 747 discovered oxygen in the atmosphere of Mars.

These exoplanets are too far away to tell much about them, though they can detect things such as the presence of oxygen and other gases. Here's an article on the adapted 747 that was able to fly at the upper edges of our atmosphere for a more precise observation on the atmosphere of Mars. Oxygen Detected In Martian AtmosphereI've also found this. It is something to consider, but doesn't preclude extraterrestrial life. It's just saying that oxygen could be present in the absence of lifeforms. I think that it's still possible to find life on other planets. Oxygen on exoplanets isn't proof of life
