We seem to be gaining a couple new members, and thought it might be the time for an introductions thread. It does what it says on the tin, just tell us who you are and whatever you want us to know about you. For completeness if the older members would post something short here too it would be appreciated.
For the record, my name is Tom, known here as Tomspy77, I met Sherlew, Snap and a couple of the other members while on the Sci-Fi channel message board about Doctor Who, and from that boards rudeness at the time, began my Doctor Who site, which I later shut down...this board is a more 'general' board, and one I hope you will stay at and enjoy.

Hi I'm sherlew, the other admin on the board, and I agreed that a general board would be a good idea. We're still busy coming up with interesting things to talk about, so feel free to jump in and start some threads if you wish.

This board was kind of culled from an older board and website that exclusively dealt with Doctor Who, but now is just a general purpose message board. Thank you for coming to see us, I know that any friend of Sherlew's must be held in the highest regard! ;D

As also said there, my main problem is promotion, as my other boards were niche boards about Doctor Who, something I knew too well as well as already being active in many communities about the show. From what I have read a general board is harder but you just need to stay the course... |
