I didn't get to work on my drawing tonite. I did some cleaning and then placed an order with amazon and now its to late. After a certain time at night my eyes get goofy. I hope the supplies that I ordered can hold me for some time to come.

Yes, I hope so too. Also, my eyes go a bit goofy as well after awhile. Just part of getting older, I suppose.

I decided to try a few of her suggestions from this video. I got a pack of the makeup wedge sponges for blending like she uses and I got a fan makeup brush but I got a tiny one. I hope the tiny fan brush will work OK? I was surprised to see that Walmart had fixative. I bought my first sketch book. I love the fact that it is sealed in plastic. I seen so many youtube videos that show what happens when the oils from a finger gets on a paper. A lot of sketch books aren't seal and just sitting there on the shelf for anyone and everyone to open up and touch the pages. The artist might not find out until he or she goes to shade that area where a finger print is then that could be a lot of work down the drain.

Mmm, yes, think I'll make sure that any paper I buy is sealed as well. Also, the little fan brush should work alright, but I guess if it doesn't you could always try a bigger one.

I might end up with two fan brushes. The tiny one should be more portable. I didn't find any at the dollar store but after I bought that one at Walmart I did find some at five below. You may have some trouble finding a tablet or sketchbook that is sealed in plastic most don't seem to be.

Oh, something else that I seen when I was selecting the makeup wedge sponges at Walmart. There was some brands that were infused with vitamin E which is an oil. I'm trying to avoid getting oil on my paper so I selected a pack that didn't say that.

I wanted to keep my sketching/drawing equipment simple and basic but I am getting the feeling that that train has left the station.
