 This is my new astronomy equipment to start star gazing with. I have a few more things coming and I still have a few things to send for yet. What you see here are a pair of Oberwerk 15x70 LW binoculars, Oberwerk monopod, extra quick release plate, 2 heavy duty L adapters, a lens cleaning pen, moon map, and planisphere. |

 Quick release plate and L adapter assembled. I have 2 of these so that I can quick change between 2 different binos. |

Sherlew I got my new planisphere today. I thought I was going to get NightWatch and the planisphere but it was just the planisphere. They did send me the right one.

I already have several tripods. In the future a good thing for me to get may be another pistol grip head.

Since I've gotten my astronomy equipment I don't think that we have had any good weather or clear skies here. Did I jinx the weather here? Will there never be clear skies again?  |
