How do you have 2 images? Did you download the software? How did you get the weather?

On your regular image it looks kind of like someone drew a face with their finger. Can you see that?

On your regular image it looks kind of like someone drew a face with their finger. Can you see that? Yeah, I saw it right away.

How do you have 2 images? Did you download the software? How did you get the weather? They sent me two image links for the star-field. I haven't downloaded any software recently. I already have Gimp on my netbook. My Sagittarius A pictures are in. Hopefully I'll see the Pleiads shots soon. My photos of the Pleiads are in. The regular photo looks a bit over-exposed. Think I may retry it. This shot turned out well, though. You got a different scope this time. Is it difficult for them to keep the lens clean?

I think that it's more likely that the photo was taken near dawn, plus I did opt for a minute exposure on it.

OK, I just put in a second request for a Pleiades photo. The only thing I'm changing is the time of the request.
OK, I need to go get some shopping done. (I'm still here at work and we're going to close up shop soon anyway.) Will swing back by the forum when I get back home.

Are there radio telescopes that offer this same kind of service? If so what would we see?

I'm not finding any online for public use or requests. As for the radio signal, it needs to be converted into a picture by the equipment in the observatory. Here's a site which has some answers on this and other things regarding radio telescopes. Frequently Asked Questions About Radio Astronomy
