One of the things they argue about towards the end of this is something that most people need to look at and think about more. Its a subject which holds a lot of reluctance to look at or talk about. Do you remember how shocked and pissed off everyone got when they found out that criminals were being hired as TSA agents? Well guess where that practice came from? It is a redux of the standard operating procedure for hiring in a very similar related field.

Yes most of if not all of that trained observer, better quality witness stuff due to field of employment that the media has been feeding us for some time now is by and far for the most part a lot of rubbish. It is meant to belittle and squash others who have had encounters and suppress the real true stories. I have experienced this personally.
The quality of observability at this time can only be quantitated on a individual bases.

As you've seen passionate arguments have been made on behalf of the trained observer better quality witness nonsense. This is an indicator that it is wrong.
