Yeah, animals tend to do that, quite funny.

I watered and fertilized my plants this evening with that new fish & kelp. It does have a slight smell. I'm hoping it dissipates.

I hope it does, too. So it has a bit of a smell when it comes in contact with water?

Not exactly. I mixed it in a spray bottle and when sprayed you can smell it a little. I haven't smelled anything yet this morning. Either it went away or I got use to it. My plants do look like they got bigger over night.

That's good and I'm glad that the smell isn't an issue.

You should see how big the leaves on my sweet pickle pepper got just over night after fertilizing it. My Basket Of Fire pepper has 3 open flowers on it now and I just hand pollinated them with a cotton swab.

When will I see my first pepper? The upcoming problem that I may have in the future is the different peppers cross pollinating from sitting to close together.

That's right, cross-pollination could be a problem. We should be able to look both that and how long it'll be before the peppers appear.

Well, if these guys are correct, you may start seeing little peppers in a few days.

As for cross-pollination these techniques, even though they are for garden plants, may work with indoor plants as well.

Those would have to be a lot of teeny tiny bags. I was thinking about trying to seperate them as much as possible.

That may work better.

There are more open flowers.

I pruned my serrano pepper, watered my plants, and planted some garlic chives.
