I'm hoping that the miner's lettuce wont even need a grow light. Lights keep getting way more energy efficient.

The lettuces are coming up like gang busters.

I watered everything today and so far it doesn't look like I did any damage.

I seen my radishes do this already. Wilt and then some of the leaves turn yellow.

My pepper plant has this problem.

I did this this morning. I dug out my bamboo skewers and assigned one to each of my plants. Currently for me it's looking like the radishes are sucking up the most water and my pepper plant the least. Most of my plants are to young to tell much about yet.

The way I'm growing my plants is very different from how most people do it.

I watered my plants really good yesterday and today I checked them. I lightly misted the young ones. The radish monsters and chives seemed kind of dry so I watered them. After watering the radishes their drip pan filled up about a quarter of an inch or so. That was an hour or two ago and now the water in the drip pan is gone. I didn't water my pepper plant at all today.

According to the USDA my Plant Hardiness Zone is 6a: -10 to -5 (f). What is yours?

I bought a pack of CORN SALAD (Mache) seeds yesterday. I'm wondering if I should by more? I was thinking about seed buying yesterday. Seed even now are getting harder to find in stores. I'm growing indoors and plan on trying to do so year round. When the end of summer and fall get here you don't find seeds at all in stores. So should I try and stock up now? It is to some extent what I've been doing.

According to the USDA my Plant Hardiness Zone is 6a: -10 to -5 (f). What is yours? Mine is zone 9a : 20 to 25 (F). I have to wonder about that though since it does get down to freezing here.

I'm not finding much on growing mache indoors. According to this article, though, it should like it might be growing in the wild in the Northeastern U.S.
