Just took this photo of my radishes. It's like they are growing faster.

How fast do radishes need to grow to become menacing?

I heard some guy say that radishes have fluoride in them.

If someone uses fluoridated water on them, they might pick some up that way. The soil could also be contaminated by fluoride in other ways, I suppose. According to this article, it looks like most of the fluoride may end up in the greens.

How fast do radishes need to grow to become menacing? I'm not sure. You can never tell with root vegetables.

I fertilized with kelp this morning. Tonight or tomorrow I may need to raise the grow light.

Brussels sprouts even how they grow. There are other ones that look like they are from another planet like kohlrabi.

I hadn't hear of kohlrabi before, had to look it up. I found a good picture of it. Now this is a menacing vegetable.

lol I showed the picture to Hubby and told him it looked like a little, round monster with lots of tentacles. He said 'yeah, it's the purple people smasher; the clobbering kohlrabi'.

OMG! My radishes have grown a lot since I went to the bank & shopping. When I left they weren't touching the light and now they are.

I bought some shallot sets today. I am going to try and grow a couple of them. They grow very differently then most things. I don't think that I have ever eaten them.
