Former NBA champion and free spirit Dennis Rodman was involved in an incident in a restaurant in Miami:
Report: Dennis Rodman skips out on dinner bill
Is Dennis Rodman hard up for money these days?
TMZ reports that the former basketball great turned ubiquitous partyer skipped out on his dinner bill at the Gansevoort South Hotel Friday night.
Sources told TMZ Rodman and some friends ate at the hotel's restaurant, Philippe Chow, racking up about $1,000 in drinks and food.
When the manager tried stopping Rodman and company from leaving the premises, an altercation ensued and a staffer got hurt and a car got damaged.
A call to the Gansevoort went unanswered.
Police confirm the Miami Beach PD responded to a call from the hotel right around the time the altercation took place.
Rodman's agent, Darren Prince, says his client was in no way involved in the incident.
''It's kind of ironic,'' Prince said from his office in New Jersey. ''Dennis wasn't even at the [fight]. It was somebody in his entourage. He absolutely knew nothing about it.'' Though Prince did confirm Rodman ate at the tony spot.
Maybe, like many celebs, the bad boy just thinks someone else dishes out the cash on his behalf?
The soon to be 48-year-old (his birthday is Wednesday) had been at the Palm Beach International Raceway earlier in the day for the 11th Annual Gumball 3000 Rally.

All of this leads one to think that the former 'bad boy' of the NBA is running out of money due to his hard parting ways. this though is only compounded by the fact that recently Rodman has shown an interest in pursuing a full time wrestling career:

According to a friend of Borash's, he inquired about working with TNA — like Donny Bonaduce,
Rodman wrestled at a few WCW pay-per-view events in the late-1990s and won the first ever Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling tournament this past fall.
