Prescription drug commercials should not exist and the fact that they do shows that the drug companies are making way to much money. Why should we be forced to watch commercials directed at individuals that probably don't have any choice about what they have to take. Usually its about very nasty dirty stuff Commercials where better when they were about things that had to do with everyone like food & soap.

I agree. Some of these pharmaceutical commercials are rather embarrassing. Guess we can just mute the TV, close our eyes and wait for it to be over.

Well, the companies themselves have a lot of power and connections in Washington and elsewhere, and they also want to be able to limit the amount of natural vitamins and meds you can take. It is already happened in other parts of the world, courtesy of the EU, which is why the United States NEVER wants to enter that kind of union: www.energygrid.com/health/2003/07ap-supban2.htmlwww.atozfitness.com/sarahsblog/arrested-for-selling-vitamin-c/There also is a video you should watch about all this, it is on You Tube and Google Video, I'll see if I can find it.
