Any big plans for Mother's Day?
A co-worker wished me a happy Mother's Day yesterday afternoon since I won't see her until next Monday. I said something like umm we don't have any kids. She said that neither do they, but they do have cats and in her book, fur-babies count. I said OK, that'll work since we have cats as well and wished her a happy Mother's Day in return.
I haven't really celebrated Mother's Day since my mom passed away about 12 years ago. Hubby's mom passed several years before mine did. We do remember them fondly, though.
