Mars Atmosphere vs Earth Atmosphere in Reporting

I seen this article this morning.

They study and report about the loss of Martian atmosphere like crazy but not about the loss of the Earths atmosphere.

When will Venuses atmosphere be ready for us to planet hop there and how well does it line up with when the Earths atmosphere is to far gone, broken, and polluted for us to stay here?

I don't even think they are looking into terraforming Venus yet

They'd have to find a way to deal with the high heat and pressure, as well as the gases that make up it's atmosphere.
