Ghosts haunt the Tricon Elementary gymnasium in Bay de Verde June 13 during the official book launch for "The Ghosts of Baccalieu," although most of them are only paper and plastic.
Surrounded by halloween decor, some 140 students and teachers gather to show loved ones the collection of ghost stories and illustrations they have completed over the school year and can now cherish as a published book.
"The Ghosts of Baccalieu" is a collection of stories told throughout the Baccalieu region, some dating back hundreds of years, says Western Bay resident and award winning author Charis Cotter.
Cotter spearheaded the project, as well as edited the submissions. She was delighted at the involvement and support she received to get the book off the ground.
"Baccalieu is probably the most haunted place in Newfoundland."
Sounds interesting. Would love to read and review this book for NFSW.
