Doctor Who legend Tom Baker has updated his official website with the latest happenings in his life. The Bohemian Fourth Doctor started by revealing he has written a foreword to the new AA book of Haunted Britain:
Tom Baker IS the Doctor!
“It’s a very beautiful book, revealing the sites of nearly 200 ghosts throughout Britain. These ghosts have been detected in many of Britain’s historic buildings, stately homes and castles, its ancient inns, theatres, farmhouses and cottages. From the most famous ancient sites to lesser-known recently haunted buildings, each location has been painstakingly researched.”
Tom then had some wonderful new photographs taken by Oliver McNeil, who has captured the manic and yet dignified man that portrayed one of the most popular Doctors:
“In his little cave I tried to suggest mystery and joy, and I thought of sharing a glass of wine with the fans.”
Finally, Tom relaxes after his busy schedule and takes his beloved dog Poppy for a walk during which he took the time to entertain his neighbours:
“Andy, the farmer, and his son Joss laughed at my jokes which made me full of good humour.”
A busy time for Tom but it’s great to see him still doing his thing.
