I was just reading and learning about these Jones-Bird newtonian telescopes. Some people really don't like them and say to avoid them.

The answers are starting to come in and to me it looks like they don't know what they are talking about. The first one just says "Is good". The second one says that it is because of the secondary mirror.

The distinguishing feature is the corrector lens between the secondary lens and eyepiece right?

I was just live chatting with Orion Telescopes and they said none of their telescopes have that corrector lens in the focuser.

We're seeing that Celestron does. I still want to know if Meade does. That Meade 130mm reflector has been on my wish list for awhile.

So if you use a barlow lens with one of these it's basically one barlow lens on top of another?
