This is interesting. When I see the moons orbiting Jupiter they travel in the opposite direction then this object seems to be going. Thing do pass in front of other things all the time. I only just started in astronomy and one time while observing the ISS and airplane crossed between me and it thru my field of view with my binoculars. It was AWESOME.

As for the wayward object in the video, it may just be a moon. Jupiter's moons are all over the place. Take a look at this Jovian simulator.

In fact Jupiter's gravity well seems to vacuum up any stray asteroids that come too close. Though, who knows, it might have trapped an unlucky UFO or two.
