I just read somewhere that says to use a red balloon like how I used the plastic wrap but just one layer. Sherlew if you have a flashlight try putting a red balloon over the front of it.

OK, I'll give it a go.

I'll need to buy a balloon first, though. Plan to do it after work tomorrow.

This little trick worked quite well. I just cut the tail off a balloon and stretched it over the end of a regular flash light. It fit perfectly and didn't need anything to hold it in place. I did have to cut a bit of balloon to size for a miniature flash light I also have. Found that a twist tie worked quite well to hold it in place. I tried this with a rubber band first, but it proved to be problematic. It was hard for me to wrap the band around the end without it trying to pop off. Both adapted flash lights worked well when I checked them out, providing a bit of light without destroying my night vision. I noticed that neither one would light my way while out and about, though, so used a third flash light which isn't very bright anyway to see where I was going.

Yae, I'm glad you did it If you get a chance to get some red plastic wrap in the future snatch it up and try it. You can very more how bright or dim the light is. Some times red plastic wrap is used over gift baskets and probably other things.

I see it late in the year during the holiday season, but it's rare as hen's teeth around here for most of the year. Or maybe I don't shop in stores that have it on a regular bases. I'll look around and see what I can find the next time I go shopping.

Actually, maybe I should try a red marker and clear wrap trick.
