This thread is not about the movie as much as it is about how it is being used by the establishment as propaganda to make those who have UFO and alien encounters appear to be crazy. I was watching The Big Bang Theory last night and they poo-pooed this movie without a reason. South Park has also poo-pooed this movie and the reason they gave for doing so is because of the aliens. To me this is the best movie of the franchise.

I'll never quite understand why intelligent, reasonable people will join in and gang up on things or people like they do. The Twilight series is a good example. It's not the best thing I've read, but definitely not the worst, either. People just react in a rather strong, emotional way and jump on the bashing bandwagon.

The perverse thrill of kicking someone who they perceive to be down in order to be part of something no matter how wrong it is. Contrary to what we are told this country is not for the underdog it is against him or her.

Do you remember what 2 kinds of aliens are in this movie? Sorry, I missed this post. No, I don't remember. I just saw the movie once when it came out years ago.

I too have only seen the movie once and although I agree with Drac that the aliens were just as much as a stretch as the other plot lines, plus it went with the 50's feel of the film.
What turned me off was Shia Lebouf (Probably just butchered his name)although it was not his fault, i just did not buy that this kid could do all that swinging on vines between jeeps and what not.
Then again, as much as I saw the films like any movie watcher in the 80's, none of the Indiana Jones films were my favorite films, besides Last Crusade which I thought was great, involved WW2 one of my fave history periods to study and had Harrison ford and Sean Connery!
Fiction aside, do you have any links about the Grail and Ark being Alien artifacts PD?

Everyone has heard about the Grail might be the bloodline. The last thing that I just heard about it is that it was a cup carved from a green stone that fell from space and that it was a jewel from Lucifer's crown from when he was an angle before being cast down. That kind of points at it as being and alien artifact.

The ark was or held some kind of power source. Moses could have stolen advanced high technology from the Egyptians before leaving (it makes the story actually work out better). Some think the ancient of days was a mana producing machine.
