What is the difference between a minstrel and a troubadour? If I play a mandolin and sing while I am hiking and camping which one will I be I hope that the mandolin that is coming tomarrow is lite enough to take hiking. It says that it comes with a case, I wonder how good the case is

Here it is ;D I tied on a nylon cord to use as a strap. It and the case weigh lees then 2lbs. I broke the nut already but it has a zero fret so its not a big deal right now.

That's definitely quite different from the other mandos I've seen. Sorry to hear that the nut broke. How much do the other mando's you have weigh?
