In the year 3,000 aliens will live among us and the world will be a peaceful place without all the crazy issues fostered by greed. I don't think that those in power and with everything are just going to roll over and give up. Well, no but it is a nice thought none the less.

From what I have learned about it it is a super plant. It has omega 3 oils in it like fish. It is one of the best plants to grow hydroponically. Its good for making pickles and that's just a few things. Keep this plant in mind when you are watching the movie War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise which is what I am going to do now This has been the stand out plant of this year for me so far. Have you noticed how abundant it is?

Not really, but was not that familiar with the plant. Enjoy your movie.

One of the best and cheapest ways for a company to promote its product and give back to the consumer is to give more of the product. Look how the serving sizes of soda has increased over the years. Before the year 3,000 we should see POP TARTS with more filling (way haven't we already?).

Perhaps they're too lazy to make the changes to the factories. It would also take some money to do so. The soda companies have changed to bigger, bottles and larger cups for soda are available now. Or maybe it's because the Kellogg's corporation is afraid that putting more yummy goodness in might cause a possible escape of hot filling while someone's toasting the product, causing burned fingers and probably resulting in a lawsuit.

Dratted things, you'd think that the guys who make them would be more careful.

HARKEN UNTO THINE NEW PREDICTION! Now that the battle of the wasteful ketchup packets has been won I think that one of the other wasteful areas that needs to be dealt with is the amount of water given in the directions that is need to cook pasta. Am I the only one that noticed it is way to much?

OH PA-SHAW! Why are they riding their breaks and dragging their feet when it comes to this change? I have made mac & cheese the freezer bag cooking method a few times and look at how little water one uses there and one doesn't even boil it.

They want to stay with the tried and true. Why bother with blazing new trails when you doubt the new method will even work?

People have to start pressuring and shaming the pasta manufactures. It is both a big waste of energy and water. It is not as big of a deal for them to change as it was for the ketchup packets. All they have to change is the cooking direction. If they are the first to do so they could use it as part of a big advertising cue. Its a very big green move.
