I'm not sure if the soylent will catch on. Also, a lot of wags will quote a certain movie: "Soylent Green is people!"
You can already find cricket flour, but it's very expensive. I really like the edible cup idea.

When I seen that I kept thinking Soylent Green. You've seen cricket flour in stores?

Yeah, as I said. It is expensive. Hopefully the price will go down later.

If it is to be a food of the future I think the price would have to come way down. I think people are going to be much poorer in the future.

Yes, and even now good staples don't cost so much. I think that once we get more people involved in the industry prices should start coming down soon.

I have still been thinking of things to post in this thread but not posting them. The last thing that I've been thinking of would be very controversial and really make a lot of people mad.

Possibly, but we wouldn't know for sure until it's posted.

Here is one that isn't controversial. I don't know why porn sites are leading the way technology wise but. I predict that in the near future that YouTube will be using short thumbnail previews like porn sites have been doing for a while now. When you place your curser on a thumbnail (without clicking) it shows a short preview of the video.

I could see Youtube doing that. Sounds like the porn video guys and quite technologically innovative.

I am surprised they haven't done it already. It really helps immensely with trying to figure out what you want and don't want to watch.

In the near future dyslexia will be reported as being an indicator of and/or proof of the existence of reincarnation. This one came to me just this morning.

How would they present that as proof?
