What have you been watching here lately?
I picked up the One Step Beyond disk set. It was one of the first TV programs to take a look at documented, paranormal events. It's alot like the Twilight Zone, and rather good.

I have been watching many things in may ways, and some of the ways I'll be talking about in some of the sections, there is more then one way to watch TV and movies with the internet. But recently I have seen Monsters VS Aliens, The Money pit, Spider-Man, the Last Starfighter and a few others. The movie I'd like to se would be Watchmen.

If I ever get a broadband connection... In my area, AT&T DSL only costs about thirty bucks at the low end, and that's not bad and is also all you need for most things, although I know how it can be hard to afford things especially with this economy today.

I could get it for less, but money is so tight over at our place it's not funny. The car got a bit expensive on us last month, and it still needs new tires.
I'm still hoping that some day things will be better. Meanwhile I'll just keep getting DVDs a the library and renting videos from Blockbuster.

I hear you there Sherlew. I my paycheck this week is going to look sad with only one week on it due to the shutdown and me not having time to cover it.
It seems that my mother in-law wants to visit us since we can't visit her. She also wants to check out the new i-max theater we have and see the new Star Trek movie. So I guess I'm getting to get see that on her dime, wonder if I could get her to come back in time to see HP in July? ;D Probably not since she's anti Harry.

Still, seeing the new Star Trek movie in Imax will be neat. It is one to watch on the big screen, so I definitely plan to go catch a matinée showing after my next payday. Hubby may not join me for that one, but he and I will probably see HP later, together.

I am surely looking forward to both the HP and the ST films that are due, and I am so curious about the Trek one, I want to see how the 'restart' it so to speak, especially as it's not a different ship but the original TV Enterprise.

True, but you know if it sells they will want a sequel, and it will have to fit into the whole continuity of that generation of Trek, and it's still supposed to be the same guys from the sixties TV series. It's like when the prequel Star Wars came out and I was yet to see or hear Obi Wan Kenobi. It was fine, but I had to see it to accept it.

Same here. I loved original Trek as a kid and am waiting to see how both the movie and any of it's sequels turn out. Hope they do a good job.

Not really. It'll be awhile before I'll get a chance to see it. Hopefully before the end of the month.

I picked up "The Last Detective" from and watched it last night. It stars Peter Davison as a rather decent but disrespected police detective. It's rather good and I can definitely recommend it.
