Could Esperanto be defined as being Pop?
Pop is short for popular which it is but the definition most associated with Pop is fad which I don't think it is at all. It holds up a red flag as to domineering for me by means of belittling.

It's definitely not a fad. And although pop music is seem as music just like any other type, due to the fact that people have been known to belittle Esperanto, the term 'pop language' shouldn't be used if it contributes to the belittling.
