I just got this camera mount and check out the photos of it on amazon?

Look at how it's oriented compared to the one I got?



It might be OK for some smartphones but I got it to use with a point and shoot camera. My point and shoot does screw onto the mount. To get my camera in front of the eyepiece holder it looks like I'm going to have to do some disassembling and reassembling.

This is how it came when I got it except covered in bubble wrap.

It came with 3 different sizes of allen wrenches. I don't think they would have included them if they weren't meant to be used.
I'm not going to change it right away. I'll see how it does with my phone like camera first.

I had to fiddle with mine to get it to work with my smartphone. Also, I ordered a new smartphone which arrived yesterday. It has a 5 megapixel camera, which is better than the one I already have.
