I have been telling myself the last few days that I am just going to try an put together the two models that I have and then that is it. Models and the supplies to make them take up to much space. Well today I bought this.

I may have sacrificed those 3 micro brushes because I don't have any paint thinner yet.

I may have sacrificed those 3 micro brushes because I don't have any paint thinner yet. Hot vinegar might help. This tip is for house paint, but may work in your case.

It may work with these, too. Guess you could try it with just one. If it doesn't work, I'd just wait until you can get the proper paint thinner.

Would the big cans of paint thinner that you can get at Walmart work? That might be better then buying those teeny tiny bottles.

It looks like lacquer thinner is good for cleaning up, but you may want to be careful when mixing it with the paint you're going to use on a model. Wish I had more time to look into the matter this morning, but I have to go to work soon. I'm covering for a co-worker, which adds up to a long work week.

I bought a BIG bottle of a new kind of safer paint thinner at Walmart today.

On my shuttle model what the instructions say to paint and what the photo on the box shows are two different things. The photo on the box shows the payload bay floor being flat black. The instructions only say to paint the two circles that are on the payload black. That is what I am going with. There is no way for me to paint the floor without me messing the other thing up.
