I had one of my worst dreams ever last night. Lots of not understanding and futility. I seen my very beloved dead aunt at the end very vividly and I reached out to give her a hug. When I seen her I started screaming NO over and over because I thought I was dead.

A pretty upsetting dream indeed. I hope you're feeling better. The title of this thread is intriguing, too. I keep thinking that it would be a good story title. Sometimes writing what you've dreamed about, and even turning it into a story can help.

Sea of anchors is a term used by the bad guy in my dream that was talking to me. He used it in the same way that Pink Floyd does when they sing about the wall.

I could see it becoming a common expression and suspect that many people could relate to it.
