Not yet. Right out of the tubes they are varying degrees of paste like. The leaking problem may show up when using them starts with the applying of water to them. I was thinking maybe I should get another brand of watercolor tube paints to put into the Yoda palette.

I would like to know how she did this? I think he used some form of resist stencil first.

I'm not finding much on the technique at her website, but did find some neat dragons. The black water dragon is especially worth mentioning. She starts out with a black ink pen, but then add some wonderful watercolor work.

I found a pack of Royal & Langnickel watercolor tubes at 5below which I bought. Looks like there is going to be a watercolor war between ALTOIDS filled with Daler - Rowney and Yoda filled with Royal & Langnickel.

I need to stop collecting them and start using them. Just from squeezing them out of the tubes I like R&L better so far. Yoda has one empty well left and I'm thinking of cheating and putting some D-R Naples Yellow there.

Last nite I touched the ALTOIDS paint to see if it was drying and found the answer to be NO. This morning it is still as shiny as it was when I squeezed it in. Visually it looks like the Yoda is drying. The shine is duller then when I put it in last nite. I am wondering if the Daler-Rowney watercolor paint has glycerin in it or something like that?

Possibly, doesn't the package have a contents list?

Not surprising, these paint producers probably have their own proprietary mixtures. It would be nice just to know one or two ingredients, though.

Shhhhhh... don't tell anyone put I just FINGERED my paints (it might be illegal in some people's heads). The Yoda tin is dry to the touch. The Altoids tin is drier then it was but still not dry yet.

Some people need to get their minds out of the gutter if that's where their minds are going.
I have to wonder why the paint in the Altoids tin is taking so long to dry. Is there a bit more paint in each well?
