A small non-slip ruler 3 different size Uni-ball Signo UM 151 black gel pens for inking. I use these types of pens for everything and love them. A 0.7mm white gel pen. A Rotring lead holder A Uni pin pen to try for inking 2 different brands of water brushes to try A Pilot Color Eno Mechanical pencil and Pilot Color Eno Neox Mechanical pencil lead Soft Blue. Lots of comic book illastrighters use non photo blue pencils at the beginning of there sketching but not all are the same. This looks like the newest and best. A 0.7mm Pental Sharp Drafting pencil because I like how they look. 2 Tombow Mono Zero Eracers round with refills. One Tombow Mono Zero Eracer rectangular with refill. 2mm 2B leads. An owl stencil.

I also bought a wrist sweat band at Walmart today to use outside with a water brush for watercolors. I seen many urban sketching videos and think that that is something that I would like to do. They would also do nicely with a nature journal.

I feel like I have been way to caught-up in art supplies lately and not actually doing any art. I am going to change that very soon and get back to sketching, drawing, and even painting. It is fun shopping and buying things though.

Yeah it is, but buying all that stuff would be pointless if one doesn’t actually use it.

I did buy 2 more things on my way back home today. I bought another one of those ROYAL & LANGNICKEL hardbound sketchbooks. This time I bought a green one and I got it at 5 Below. Here we have them at both 5 Below and Walmart and they are only like $5. I hope they turn out to be good. I also bought some 2 inch binder clips to use with my sketchbooks.

I hope the sketchbooks are good as well. If so, that is a very good deal for them.

Here I will try to show you. Go to this link and put your curser on the thumbnail of the instructions and the photo will change to it. www.jetpens.com/Kutsuwa-Stad-Template-Double-Blue/pd/12523See how you do half of the letter and the reposition the stencil so that the other half bumps up against it? We always just did the whole letter then filled in the blank space.

Sorry, I'm not seeing the instructions thumbnail. It may just be my browser though.

I bought a tin of ALTOIDS today, not for the mints but to try and make into a pocket watercolor paint set. I have a few ideas.
