I would like something that's mostly made of metal so it would be good for solar eclipses as well as jive with the astrophotograpy. Would have to search a bit further to say what, exactly.

From what I've just been learning it looks like astrophotographers like refractors. Did you see we are going to get a double comet flyby this week, Monday & Thursday? Or was that asteroid?

I found out that the Orion StarBlast 4.5 is more suited for star clusters then planets.
