In search of the unexplained: Paranormal investigators film new series for cable network
When “Unknown Ghost Files” premieres late this summer, it will bring a Gretna team of paranormal investigators into the world spotlight.
Tri-City Research and Investigation of the Paranormal soon will debut its new series on a cable network that the team can’t disclose yet due to a promotional agreement.
The series will give T.R.I.P. Paranormal founder Nate Raterman and his team the chance to share their investigations with a larger audience.
“I want people to see what we experience – and prove the existence of what we experience,” Raterman said.
“Unknown Ghost Files” offers a fresh twist on other ghostly reality shows by investigating places that no one else has checked out, Raterman said.
“Our show is different than anything else out there,” the Gretna resident said. “We’re going to all new locations. Sure, we could do Alcatraz, but everyone has done that.”
The team has a six-year deal with the network and expects to do at least a show a week during that time.
Raterman does all of the production himself and owns the rights to the show.
