Also, I may not always agree with you, Don, but I will always listen to what you have to say.

The 150 indicates the number of years that the company has been in business. This does back up the trust angle. To me, the slogan is saying 'people have been trusting us for 150 years. That is probably what they were shooting for but missed the mark by not including the word years.

Yes, including the words years would remove any confusion.

Also, I may not always agree with you, Don, but I will always listen to what you have to say. I really wasn't referring to you even thou it did seem like that. Sooooo many people go to such extreme and absurd lenghts to try and contradict me. Its a domineering thing that people often get wrong.

It's kind of like what my machine tools teacher said. You have to include the unit of measurement (inches, centimetres) for the numbers to make sense. It may not be seen as important on the Brinks logo since many could see that years are implied, but a very literal-minded person may have trouble with this.

People can be downright bastards at times.

ROLLING WITH THE PUNCHES FOR NOW This was one of my T-shirt ideas. It's a good one. I think so. I have had to roll with so many punches and some of them have been real whoppers. Its mostly because of my mother. If I wasn't taking care of her I would probably have been dead long ago.

OWLS KILL EAGLES This slogan has a hell of a lot going for it. It has depth, layers, and angles. It is a laconic masterpiece.

IF YOU VOTE YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN This of course is a correction of the false and way to over used verbatim regurgitation that doesn't make any sense "If you don't vote you have no right to complain". I really should get a T-shirt with this on.

NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED My existence attests to the validity of this slogan however it is somewhat of an incomplete statement for the severity of the punishment is proportional to the greatness of the deed.

Yes, but it still get the message across. I wonder if it's possible to indicate this proportion somehow.
