I spent all day at the hospital. They admitted my mother she has pneumonia and a UTI.

I asked the doctor if she would be home by Christmas and he said maybe. For the next several days you might not see very much of me here.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your mother at this time. I really hope that she'll get better quickly and be able to go home for Christmas. We can always chat later, no problem there.

Thank you very much Sherlew. I will have some time to practice my ukulele over there. I am also charging and updating my Nintendo. It has been so long since I played with it.

You're very welcome and who knows, people may enjoy listening to a ukulele there.

I only have a few songs memorized on the ukulele. I will be mostly practicing and learning songs which isn't fun to listen to but I will try to do it quietly.

OK, I'm sure that people will appreciate that. And truthfully, it can be hard for a patient to get some sleep in a hospital since the nurses come in about every four hours or so to check up on him / her.

I got a call after I woke up this morning. My mother had a breathing problem and they had to put her on a respirator. She is in ICU now and heavily sedated.

She still has the ventilator tube in. They want to make sure all of the fluid is out of her lungs so they don't have to put it back in. It is looking good for it to be removed tomorrow. They took her off of sedation for a little while today. I feel like if I was to start crying that I would never stop.

They didn't remove the tube today. They gave her medicine to remove her fluid build up today. It looks like they will remove the tube tomorrow.
