Somebody sent me that pic as a joke in a text, and I've seen some of her other work before too. To be honest I will hate and be mildly unnerved by all the Swine Flu (I refuse to call it hn1 whatever...), hysteria and media hype that is surely coming soon, especially as I work with the general public.

It's going to crazy for awhile, but things should settle down eventually. It isn't as bad as some think it is.

It's probably not that bad at all, but they will try to scare us to death with it in the media outlets...

Anything to sell the news. It's despicable.

It's business and the modern age. Doctors no longer become doctors to help people, they become doctors to buy BMW's...it's sad but true.

What does Porky Pig think about all this? He was very upset about it. So much so that it made him stutter....what's that?? He HAD the stutter before? Oh, well, in that case I guess he was not too bothered by all this commotion at all.

He probably knows that most people will come to realize that all this worry is pointless. Taking reasonable precautions against this new flu, as well as the regular flu, is much more productive.

Very true, I work around the public and the best and easiest thing to do is to wash your hands a lot or/and use hand sanitizer.

No, just good common sense. You're less likely to spread germs that way, unless you shake elbows with people. Heard about this trick several years ago.
