I had to look up the actual name of it. The Bayeux Tapestry.

As for whether it's easy to crush a diamond, yes it is. I did do a bit of searching to verify this.

Can you see the reasoning behind the question? Lots of people have heard that diamond is the hardest but most have no idea what that really means. I have a good idiot story about it from when I helped out at bars.

Yes, just because something is really hard, doesn't mean it can't fracture easily. Glass and ceramics are hard, but of course are easy to shatter. Cast iron is a brittle metal and has to be handled with care.

When was the first U.S. submarine made?

The Turtle. It was made during the Revolutionary War out of wood. Its intention was to sneak up on British ships and drill holes in them. I didn't look this one up.

Can a person OD on potassium from eating 6 bananas?

Six bananas contain about 2550 mg of potassium, well under the adult daily dose. Healthy people should have no problems. People with certain medical problems or who are on medication should speak with a health care professional first, though. link

I heard Karl Pilkington say that on TV and kind of figured it couldn't be true. How many bananas go into a banana cream pie? Is it more then 6? Wouldn't that make them deadly? And people eat banana chips. www.karlpilkington.com/

I just looked at several banana cream pie recipes. Found one that called for 6 bananas, but many just took 2 or 3 sometimes 4. It would also take lots and lots of banana chips to equal six bananas.
I don't know who you saw on TV, but I would take what that person says with a grain of salt.

I found a video of him talking about bananas. linkHe was saying over six would probably be dangerous. Even though he isn't a medical expert he may be right. I suppose one could overdose on potassium if one ate enough bananas. I'm still not sure why someone would want to do it anyway.

Now I heard or read somewhere else that it is very easy for people who take potassium pills (like I do) to OD on them. That kind of seems to lend credibility to what he said. ARE WE STUMPED?
