In the year 3,000 greeting cards will come with peel and stick envelopes. Am I the only one that thinks it strange that they don't already do so? If you were a greeting card company that did that you should be able to wipe Hallmark off the map.

It's interesting to think that we'll still be using paper cards by then. Also, Hallmark should have gone the way of the Dodo by then, but you never know.
What you ought to do is draw out a design for your idea and either send it to a greeting card company you like, or start your own business if you have the money to do so.

It seems very weired to me that they jumped to cards that play music or you can record a message on and by passed peel-n-stick envelopes.

The better to annoy people with, or help Mr. Monk find a certain garbage bag in the local dump which contained an important item.

In the year 3,000 Hallmark will own the world, and each day will be a holiday where you are required to buy cards for each person you know, as this is much easier then some sad taxation that makes people sad and revolt, give them a happy joyous holiday to celebrate each day...O.k., I'll stop and shut up now.

Actually, this makes me glad that I live in the hear and now. Arraigning for cards to be sent off to everyone I know everyday would be a big pain. Also, if you celebrate something every day, then no day is really special. Hopefully no one in charge of things will ever lose their minds and implement something like this.

PT to become the new TP I am using this thread for future predictions in general not just what happens after the year 3,000. Long distance hikers have found it better to carry an use paper towels as toilet paper then toilet paper. Its suppose to be better and much less wasteful. If this is so it should catch on and toilet paper should change as we know it now.

I can see this happening, can also foresee people plugging up toilets with paper toweling when they try to flush too much of it down the toilets instead of using it just for hiking. PTs don't break down in the sewer system like TP does.
